The What Matters? Writing Competition is still open!
It’s the first year that What Matters? is 100% online, and based on some feedback, we will be extending the period that we accept entries for a short time. You can now submit an entry to What Matters? until Wednesday 16 May 2018. Please be assured that any entries that have already been submitted are secure.
If you need any assistance with the entry form, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Good luck!
Inspired by Gough Whitlam's commitment to involving young people in the shaping of Australia's future, the competition is open to NSW, the ACT and Tasmania school students in years 5 to 12. Responding to the simple question 'what matters?', entrants are free to express their views on any matter they care about.
Students are to submit an original written work between 400-600 words in prose or poetry, of either fiction or non-fiction. ENTER HERE or read further Competition Guidelines and our fabulous prizes here.
