Christmas Piano Recital at the Whitlam Institute, featuring Kevin Hunt

Please join us for a very special Saturday event at the Whitlam Institute, featuring acclaimed pianist Kevin Hunt. With a program that will span Bach, Cole Porter and Christmas carols, our Christmas piano recital is free but registration is essential.

Kevin is an award-winning performer, teacher and composer who studied and now teaches at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has recorded with luminaries such as Don Burrows, James Morrison and Simon Tedeschi. Kevin has a PhD on the jazz capabilities of Australian-made pianos Stuart & Sons, and has led numerous community educational music projects. He is an Academic Fellow at the Sydney Conservatorium.

Light refreshments from 2:00 pm, recital begins at 2:30 pm. Register now.

This event will showcase one of Sydney's colonial architectural treasures, the Female Orphan School, as well as a concert grand piano that was gifted to Western Sydney University by the Diane Bawden Memorial Foundation, in her loving memory.
