Getting to Grips with the Economy series all wrapped up

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the extremely high calibre speakers who took the time to come out to Parramatta to participate in the series. We were absolutely thrilled with the quality of presentations, and we've received terrific feedback about the series.

The three part Getting to Grips with the Economy series proved to be a great success in terms of attracting an interested and considerable audience to Riverside Theatres, Parramatta, and in extending the reach of the series through the substantial national media coverage of the ABC on the ABC Fora TV program and website. The final session has been picked up by SlowTV, and appears on their website.

The following speakers were part of the series:

Dr David Gruen, Executive Director, Macroeconomic Group, Australian Treasury;

Ross Gittins AM, Economics Editor, The Sydney Morning Herald;

Professor Robert Fagan, Emeritus Professor of Human Geography, Adjunct Professor, Macquarie University Centre for Research on Social Inclusion;
