The Whitlam Prime Ministerial Collection is growing in size and significance. It can rightly be regarded as a collection of genuine national significance. This is due primarily to Gough and Margaret Whitlam’s personal generosity and that of the Whitlam family.

The Whitlam Institute 2009 What Matters writing competition for primary and secondary school students across NSW and the ACT is now underway.
The Whitlam Institute, in conjunction with Riverside Theatres, is co-hosting The National Museum of Australia exhibition ‘Behind the Lines: The Year’s Best Cartoons 2008'.
Institute welcomes new Communications Officer
Amy Sambrooke has put her headphones and microphones away after several years as a Producer at 702 ABC Sydney, and taken up the position of Communications Officer at the Institute.
