Energy Security - focus on renewable energy
Energy Security - focus on renewable energy

The Institute has gone global with a new YouTube channel featuring speakers from our Energy Security series.
This series is designed to bring the best science, not spin to the debate about our energy future.
Over half way through the series, a number of key questions have started to arise about how our communities will need to deal with the issue of where our energy comes from in the future.
To help with this discussion, we have put a highlights package of each session on YouTube, including some of the incisive questions from the diverse audience.
Hundreds of people, unable to attend in person, have already watched some of the sessions, with fossil fuels the clear winner so far. Bringing this quality science into a noisy debate will help inform people about the real picture of energy in Australia and the world.
Our next session on August 13 at 4pm in the Riverside Theatre, Parramatta, will focus on renewable energy and feature Dr Mark Diesendorf, Institute of Environmental Studies, UNSW, Dr Martin Poole, Chairman of the Energy Committee of The Warren Centre and Andrea Gaffney, BP Solar.
You can book for the next session at Riverside Theatre, Parramatta.
