New Director of the Whitlam Institute
Mr Sidoti has been actively engaged in public policy development, advocacy, strategic planning and communications throughout his career.
He was the Executive Director of the Human Rights Council of Australia (HRCA) 1992 - 1995, Communications Director of Amnesty International Australia 1987 - 1992, and for over a decade he has consulted and been engaged in projects across a broad range of policy fields (human rights; development; Indigenous land rights and education; humanitarian law and conflict; employment and welfare issues) with organisations such as Australian Red Cross, Dusseldorp Skills Foundation, the Enterprise and Careers Education Foundation, Greening Australia and Job Futures.
Mr Sidoti will bring exceptional experience as a respected, credible and high profile contributor to public policy and research and we are delighted that he has agreed to join UWS at this exciting time in its development. He will be working closely with staff and community partners to build the public programs and profile of the Institute and the University.
