The Whitlam Institute Dismissal 30th Anniversary Week

The Whitlam Reading Room opened for the public throughout the week and Principals of 80 GWS high schools were informed of the anniversary week and invited to visit the Reading Room.

Collection Exhibition in the Female Orphan School

The UWS Art Curator, Monica McMahon, mounted an exhibition of collection highlights in the Female Orphan School Gallery which opened to the public. The exhibition included fund raising items commissioned by the Whitlam Institute to mark the anniversary. Please see attached photos and items for sale.

  • The Hon Bob Carr launched an updated edition of The Truth of the Matter
  • Mr Whitlam presented 'dismissal' documents to the Vice-Chancellor
  • Mr Whitlam launched the Digital Collection
  • Vice-Chancellor launched the Week including opening of the exhibition
