Whitlam & the People's Republic of China: The Historic Legacy
One of Prime Minister Whitlam's first decisions was to establish diplomatic relations between Australia and the People's Republic of China on 21 December, 1972. We commemorate 30 years of Australia/China friendship with stunning new photographs, courtesy of the Hon. Tom Burns AO, as new additions to the Whitlam Prime Ministerial E-Collection. We also include Mr. Whitlam's recent speeches to commemorate the anniversary.
