This two-day roundtable was organised by the Whitlam Institute, Reconciliation Australia and the Fred Hollows Foundation to discuss corporate financing for indigenous communities. The conference was made possible with support from Gilbert and Tobin, Westpac and the Rio Tinto Aboriginal Foundation.

Speakers included;
Leon Davis, Chairman of the Westpac Banking Corporation and trustee of both the Westpac Foundation and the Rio Tinto Aboriginal Foundation. Leon spoke on the corporate sector's social and community commitment. Read more.
Alison Anderson, Commissioner of the ATSIC Central Remote Regional Council gave an address Two realities facing indigenous and non-indigenous worlds. Read more.
Mick Dodson, Chairperson of the Australian Indigenous Leadership Program and holder of significant positions within the national indigenous community questioned new notions of leadership in a paper titled Partnerships, a One-way Street?. Read more.
Richard Ahmat, from the Cape York community delivered an historic address to the conference dinner - Treaty Yeah! Read more.
